Good360 Teams-up With Home Depot Foundation to Donate Mattresses to Omaha’s Homeless Veterans
OMAHA, Neb. 鈥The Home Depot Foundation and Good360 donated 40 mattresses to New Visions Homeless Services to help homeless veterans in Omaha.
鈥淭hey get a good night鈥檚 sleep,鈥 said CEO and Founder of New Visions Harry Wallar. 鈥淭hey鈥檙e rested. They鈥檙e more willing to do things that they need to do to become self-sufficient.鈥
Wallar said at least 300 homeless veterans are in the Omaha area.
Walter Henderson said he was homeless for two years.
鈥淲hen I was born, it was hard times. It鈥檚 still hard times, you know? Times are just going different. That鈥檚 all,鈥 Henderson said.
