Join Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids in Celebrating the 18th Annual Youth Advocates of the Year Awards Gala
On May 15, 2014 in Washington, D.C., the Campaign for Tobacco-Free KidsÌýwill celebrate itsÌý18th Annual Youth Advocates of the Year Awards Gala. With over 450 business, philanthropic and government leaders, Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids will honor theÌýaccomplishments of outstanding young people and tobacco control advocates from across the United States and around the world.
At this year’s gala, Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids will present the Champion Award to Larry J. Merlo, President and Chief Executive Officer of CVS Caremark Corporation for setting a powerful example for all retailers, especially those involved in health care, by announcing that it will end the sale of tobacco products at its more than 7,600 stores throughout the United States.
The Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids applauds CVS for this courageous and historic decision andÌýcannot wait to celebrate with all honorees, guests, partners and vendors who always make the gala event a memorable success.
