This week, the Boy Scouts of ����Ӱҵ announced that Wayne Brock, its chief operating officer, will lead the 102-year-old organization.�� In an interview with The Chronicle, Mr. Brock said he would focus on increasing the group’s membership in the short time he has.��

“The Boy Scouts is a tremendous organization, and we know it makes a difference in the lives of our kids,” said Mr. Brock, who was himself a Scout beginning at age 8. “We have a better nation because of the Boy Scouts.”
